It is not bad to be overweight, because you might be overweight due to the amount of muscle, or other body tissues, including fat. But it is bad to be overFAT, because obesity is not a good lifestyle choice. So if you are fit, but overweight, it's good. But is you lead a sedentary life, then you should be careful.
