His father died three months before he was born, could not sign his name, but was a wealthy farmer. He threatened to burn down his mother and subsequent step-father's house with them inside. He showed little promise in grammar school. He was described as "idle" and "inattentive". Isaac was a very small baby not expected to survive. His mother even said that Isaac was so small that he could have fit inside a quart mug. Newton was born into a farming family. He was born the same year that Galileo died

Just a bit of info on Isaac newton...

Isaac Newton was a magnificent scientist in the Renaissance. He studied maths and physics in Cambridge university, and went to the kings school as a boy (his signature is still on the library window Ciel). He was born three weeks after his father (who was a farmer also called Isaac newton) died. Isaac died in his sleep, and after examinations people found big chunks of Mercury in his body of which he probably died(?).

He ventured into the great memorable scientists book by taking out the most simplistic of experiments. One day Isaac was walking along when an apple fell on his head from a tree. He wondered how the apple would fall and the moon wouldn't. So, from a tower, he through the apple till it hit the floor, and that's when he realised that there were gravitational forces.

Sir issac Newton is just an man but the story of him ... one day he was just sitting under a apple tree and an apple fell and then he was wondering how did it fall, so from that day he did research about how it fell and he found out about gravity. Also he was a really good maths teacher...
