I'm assuming that I'm pulling a cart up a slope, and the spring scale is between my hand and the cart, so that it is measuring the component of the weight that is acting in a vertical (downwards) direction.

It will be more than zero, but less than the weight of the cart (240 N), depending on the angle of inclination of the slope. I hope that's enough.
