Going clockwise... 210 degrees. Going anti-clockwise... 150 degrees.
counterclockwise
Turning something 'clockwise' would be turning it in the direction the hands on a clock turns. 'Counter-clockwise' would be turning it the opposite direction of a clock. I always remember anti-clockwise from clockwise, by which way a clock turns for clockwise, and the opposite way of a clock turning for anti-clockwise.
anti clock wise if you want to unscrew the moon
Anti-clockwise is the direction opposite to the clockwise direction. It is when movement or rotation goes in a counter-clockwise direction.
3 quarters clockwise is 270 degrees clockwise or 90 degrees anti(counter)-clocwise
the follow the clock direction
Minus 270 degrees which is equivalent to a quarter anti-clockwise turn, or +90 degrees.
The word anticlockwise, can be seen from the prefix anti which literally means against. For example in a clock a clockwise direction moves or proceeds to the same direction for example in trigonometric ratios or the wall clock. This means anti clock wise is proceeding to the direction or the opposite direction.
The fingers/pointers on an analogue clock move clockwise. The is from 12 o'clock they move to thew right to 1 and then 2. et.seq., This is named 'clockwise' Most rotating objects are designed to move in this manner. However, going back to the analogue clock, if the pointer/finger moves from 12 back to 11 to 10 , that is to the left , then it is described as 'anti-clockwise' or 'counter clockwise'. NB The prefix word 'anti' comes from Latin and means 'against'. So 'Anti-clockwise ' means gainst normal clock movement.
Because if it did, it wouldn't be anti-clockwise anymore.
As the earth rotates anti clockwise, and the athletes take advantage of this to get a good speed.
