If a number has only two factors then it is prime. For every natural number(except 1) we are sure about its two factors: 1 and the number itself.

So the two factors we already know of 111 are 1 and 111. So if there exists some number which divides 111 evenly then 111 has more than two factors implies 111 is a composite number.

111 is not a Prime number because it is divisible by 3.
