yes.

usually you will work with an equal amount of dependent and independent variables. (ie, one dependent variable for every independent variable, and such that there is some kind of relationship between each..)

If only. Usually a variable depends on many other variables. Such as, the price of a house depends on its size, number of rooms, distance to schools, age, windows etc.

How do researchers determine which of the variables are dependent or independent?

The variable that you can manipulate in the experiment is always the independent variable. The quantity that changes as a result of your manipulation is the dependent variable.

What is independent a dependent variables?

The independent variable is the variable that is altered by the scientist, and the dependent variable's value is dependent on the value of the independent variable.

Which variable is independent and which variable is dependent?

and independent variable is bigger than a dependent variable

What causes change in a dependent variable?

The dependent variable is dependent on the independent variable, so when the independent variable changes, so does the dependent variable.

What does the dependent variable experiment always depend on?

The independent Veritable.

What is the dependent and independent in a experiment?

The independent variable of an experiment is the variable that you change, and the dependent variable is the result of the independent variable.

Does the independent or dependent variable change?

The Independent variable is the one you control. The dependent variable is controlled by the Independent Variable.

Independent and dependent variable?

Math: Independent variable is what you change. Dependent variable is what you measure.

Where are the dependent and independent variables located on a graph explain with example?

The independent variable (such as time) is places on the x-axis of a graph. Always place the things that will never change on the x-axis. The dependent variable is then placed on the y-axis. The difference between the independent and dependent variable is that the independent variable in an experient does not change it is what stays constent, it is what is used to measure the dependent variable. On the other hand the dependent variable is what the experiment is testing for and what depends on the independent variable.

What is an Independent Variable and a dependant variable?

temperature, pressure , volume, are independent density, viscosity, etc are dependent Properties of mater are always dependent of independents. as (dependent) density , viscosity , mass density , phase conduction , etc always vary when we change independents .(temperature, pressure , volume) so you can understand dependent & in dependent

How does the independent variable affects the dependent?

the dependent variable changes based on the independent variable

What are the differences between independent and dependent variables?

An independent variable is the variable you can change in an experiment. On a graph, it's on the X-axis. A dependent variable is the result of changing the independent variable. It is literally dependent on it. The dependent variable goes on the Y-axis.
