No.. you dont have grands of sand, if you mean grain....
Let's say for the present queston it is a medium-grained sand averaging about 0.2 mm (0.02 cm) in diameter. Assuming the grain is an approximate sphere, the volume is about 5 x 10^-6 cubic cm. The density is 2.65 g/cubic cm.
2.65 * 5*10^-6 = 13 * 10^-6 g, or 13 micrograms.
do it yourself to make sure I didn't make any conversion or other errors.

There is one milligram in one milligram.
1/1000 of a gram is one milligram .
There are 1000 micrograms in one milligram.
1 milligram has 1,000 micrograms in it. That's why it's the bigger one.
to convert milligram per liter to percentage, multiply by 10000 Explanation one milligram per liter is 1 ppm 10000 ppm is 1 percentage
There is one milligram in one milligram.
A milligram is one one thousandth of a gram.
one (half milligram) = 500 micrograms
a milligram... (bit of a vague question)
A milligram is one-thousandth of a gram. A milligram is smaller than a gram.
One thousandth of a milligram DOES nothing. It is a measure of mass and has no capacity to DO anything! One thousandth of a milligram DOES nothing.
