yes because it will always be the same at that angle. If the lines were longer the circle would just get bigger but it wouldn't change the degrees of the minor arc. It would not be possible to find actual measurements. Just the degree.

Does the altitude of a triangle always intersect inside the triangle?

No. Not if the triangle is right angled (the intersection is AT the right vertex) or obtuse angled (intersection outside).

What do you call the intersection of the 3 altitudes of a trialgle?

The point where the three altitudes of a triangle intersect is called the orthocenter. This can be located either inside or outside of the triangle.

Which quadrilaterals have diagonals that intersect at right angles outside the shape?

Only a chevron has diagonals intersecting outside the shape. The diagonals of a symmetric chevron will intersect at right angles.

What is The incenter of a triangle falls outside of its triangle?

The incenter of a triangle is the point at which the 3 medians (lines from the vertex to the middle of the side opposite the vertex) of the triangle intersect. Per it's definition, the incenter cannot ever fall outside the triangle. On the other hand, the orthocenter (intersection of the altitudes) can. It does so whenever the triangle is obtuse.

In which triangle do the three altitudes intersect outside of the triangle?

In which triangle do the three altitudes intersect outside the triangle?

Obtuse Triangle

Where can the lines contain the altitude of an obtuse triangle intersect?

They can only intersect at the circumcentre, which is a point outside the triangle, beyond the side opposite the obtuse angle.

The orthocenter of a triangle may lie outside the triangle since the altitude may not intersect any side of the triangle?

The orthocenter of a triangle may lie outside the triangle because an altitude does not necessarily intersect the sides of the triangle.

The orthocenter of a triangle may lie outside the triangle because the altitude does not necessairly intersect the of the triangle?

The orthocenter of a triangle may lie outside the triangle since the ___altitude___ may not intersect any side of the triangle. * * * * * No. One of the altitudes must intersect the side opposite it and so it is not correct to say ANY side of the triangle.
