NC has no statewide curfew laws. The laws are made at the local level. Only Charlotte and Jacksonville have curfew laws on the book. Under the new rules, the curfew depends on age. For kids 12 and under they must be home by 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. seven days a week. For children 13, 14 and 15 the curfew will be at 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. seven days a week.
Generally, curfews are set by municipalities not the state. In Mississippi curfews range from 14 to 16 years old depending on the cities.
The City of Pickerington, OH curfew varies by age: Under age of 14: Curfew is between the hours of 10PM and 5AM including employment. Under age of 16: Curfew is between the hours of 11PM and 5AM Under age of 18: Curfew is between the hours of Midnight and 5AM Exceptions for travel directly between school-sponsored events and home. Also an exception for employment if you are old enough. If you are with anyone with guardian rights exempts the curfew (e.g. Dad, Mom, aunt, uncle, grandparent or other adult with responsibility). Parent or guardian can be held accountable for violations and the minor may be charged with a minor misdemeanor and sent to Juvenile court. My only curfew experience was with a warning from the police department, but I was close to home. Others may not be so lucky if they stay out late. It's 11:00 if your under 16. but my friend TJ got caught for it and they sent him to court. Curvew and Curview are common misspellings of curfew.
Those under the age of 12 must be off the streets by 9pm. Ages 12 to 14, in by 10pm. 11pm is the curfew for those 15 to 17. For all age groups, it's one hour later on weekends.
I say 14 is a resonable ageHannahSpanner: I would say 16 because you should live life to the full and be single and sometimes girls only have boyfriends for protection and comforting. You might call me weird but that is my opinon!

Indianapolis' current curfew law has the following restrictions: The 11 p.m. curfew applies to children 14 and under. 15-, 16- and 17-year olds may stay out until 11 p.m. on weekdays, but are able to stay out Friday and Saturday evenings until 1 a.m. The Indianapolis ordinance also includes a "parental permission exception" allowing a child to stay out after curfew. The curfew law does not apply when children are involved in church or school activities, accompanied by a parent, or guardian or when they are going to and from lawful employment.
