Math and writing are almost as equally important. If you go to a job, such as construction working, math will be very important. If you were to be some kind of speaker or author, writing will be important. Math may be used more than writing, but they are about equal.

Math and writing are two different types of work. Writing uses creativity and knowledge. Math requires crittical thinking and problem solving skills.
People who are more dominant in the left side of their brain are more logical and are better at math. Those that favor their right side are more creative and better at writing.
