The best route to the answer is right there in your question. The appearance of your question here demonstrates that you're perfectly able to "use the web", and therefore that you can come up with the answer every bit as soon as anyone here can.
When you do the soda thing, slide mentos into the 2liter bottle of soda, when i goes off make sure your standing back. The explosion will not harm you from the inside or out.
The exact equivalent is 2,000 ml, but it's very close to 4 pints
Diet Coke and mint Mentos
six pack of beer, soda, socks six pack of beer, soda, socks six pack of beer, soda, socks
six pack of soda six pack of beer
Soda contains dissolved carbon dioxide which causes it to bubble, but in a sealed container it stops bubbling when the internal pressure reaches a certain level (increased pressure of carbon dioxide gas will increase its solubility). If you shake a sealed container of soda, this forces more carbon dioxide to bubble out of solution, thereby increasing the pressure. Normally, the sealed container doesn't actually explode, but when you open it, then the soda gets all foamy and comes bubbling out of the container, in a semi-explosive manner.
