if by 'and' you mean 'plus', then m-6+(2/5)= 3+(3/5) original m-6= 3+(1/5) subtract the (2/5) from each side
m= 9+(1/5) add the six to each side


(the (1/5) would look like 1 over 5, and there wouldn't be a plus sign)
