Examples of how to classift a triangle in two ways?

You can classify a triangle by its sides or by its angles. I.e: A triangle with three equal sides is an equilateral triangle A triangle with three equal angles is an equiangular triangle A triangle with two equal sides is an isosceles triangle

How does equilateral triangle and scalene triangle the same?

There are many ways in which a scalene and equilateral (and also a right-triangle) are the same. A few examples would be:They all have three sides, defined by three points. The sum of their internal angles is 180° (or π radians)The triangle's area is exactly half that of the smallest possible surrounding rectangle

Is there any such thing as an obtuse right triangle?

No. A obtuse angle cannot be a right triangle- it is so wrong that it can't even be a left angle (While true, this part is of course, a joke...).There are two ways we name our triangles: using angles and how long the angles' sides are. The angles: there are three. The measurements: there are also three. The measurement triangles (aka. how long the angles and sides are) come in three types: the equilateral, the isosceles, and the scalene. The equilateral triangle has angles the measure sixty degrees and all sides measure the same length. The isosceles triangle has two sides that measure the same length, but one side has a different measurement. Same thing with the angles. The scalene triangle has all sides a different length with all sides a different measurement for the angles. The angled triangles work on three angles: the acute, the right, and the obtuse. The acute triangle's "A" point to its "B" point's angle is an angle that is acute. The right triangle's "A" to its "B" is a right angle...And the obtuse triangle's "A" to its "B" is an obtuse angle.Right angles and obtuse angles are way different...Right angles measure ninty degrees while obtuse angles measure more than ninty degrees but less than one hundred eighty degrees. Therefore, there is no such thing as an obtuse righttriangle.

What do you write when classifying triangles?

there is many ways to write when classifying a triangle, you can classify it by its sides or angles. When you classify it by angles you can classify it by acute, obtuse, and right triangle. when classyfing it by sides its isosceles, equilateral, and scalene!

How do you find an angle of a triangle?

There are many ways of finding angles in triangles...one of which is to get a protractor, of course... Also, if you know two angles, you can find the third by just subtracting the sum of the two angles from 180, which is the total number of degrees in any triangle.

What ways can show that a triangle is similar?

One triangle is similar to another if the angles of one are the same as the angles of the other. Since the three angles must sum to 180, it is enough that two of the angles of one triangle are the same as the corresponding two of the other. Equivalently, the three corresponding sides of the two triangles must be in the same proportion.

What are three ways to classify a triangles by its angles?

The three kinds of triangles are:right triangle :one of the angles is a right angle (i.e. measures 90 degrees)acute: All of the angles measures less than 90 degrees. A special case of acute isthe equiangular or equilateral triangle in which all angles measure 60 degrees;obtuse: One of the angles measure more than 90 degrees.

How can a triangle be classified in two ways?

You can classify a triangle by its sides, or by its angles. To classify a triangle by its sides:1- A triangle with three sides that are equal in length is called an equilateral triangle.2- A triangle with two sides of the same length and one different is called an isosceles triangle. 3- A triangle with no sides of equal length is called a scalene triangle. To classify a triangle by its angles: 1- A triangle with three angles that are greater than 0 and less than 90 degrees is called an acute triangle.2- A triangle with one angle that is 90 degrees exactly is called a right angle triangle.3- A triangle with one angle that is greater than 90 degrees is called an obtuse triangle.

What are three ways you can prove that triangles are similar?

Two triangles are similar if:two pairs of corresponding angles are equal, orone pair of angles is equal, and the ratios of the lengths of sides adjacent to the angles are the same, orthe lengths of the three pair of corresponding sides are in the same ratio. For the first point, if two angles of one triangle are equal to two of the other, then the third angles = 180 - sum of the two, must be equal.

How many ways can you divide a triangle in equal parts?

three

How do you name a triangle 2 different ways?

Is it possible for a triangle to have two right angles?

yes it is possible there are many different ways to draw a triangle the right angled triangle is one of them :) hope i helpedI'm sorry for the previous answer but it is wrong, it is impossible for a triangle to have more than two 90 degree angles. A triangle has 180 degrees in total, so if you have two right angle triangles they would equal 180 degrees and your third angle would have 0 degrees which is impossible. So no you cant have 2 right angles in a triangle
