Nothing multiplies percentages - to do so would be mathematical nonsense.
To turn a number into a percent is multiply it by 100 and you get your percent.
to get 5.17% of a number, multiply it by 0.0517 to get 35.9% of a number, multiply it by 0.359, and to get 58.9% of a number, multiply it by 0.589
To decrease an amount 30 percent, multiply that amount by 0.7
No you only cross multiply when your working with percent
Multiply by 100percent: First multiply by 100, Then include the word "percent". So 0.08 = 0.08x100percent = 8 percent
You change the percent to decimal form, then multiply. For example, if you want to multiply 75 x 15% you multiply 75 x .15, which = 11.25
Multiply by 4.
To multiply 6.5 percent without the percent sign, you can divide the percent value by 100. Therefore, multiplying 6.5 percent is the same as multiplying 0.065.
To find 17.5 percent of a number, multiply the number by 0.175.To increase a number by 17.5 percent, multiply the number by 1.175.
The answer is 200% multiply 2.0 by 100. Multiply any decimal by 100 to make it a percent. Ex: .8 as a percent .8X100=80%
