Let X= first page.
Formula is : X + (X+1) = 137
2X+1 = 137
2X = 136
X = 68 first page
X+1 = 69 second page
When you open the book you see two adjacent pages. Let the smaller of the two page numbers be x. Then x*(x+1) = 600. This solves to x = 24 and the other page is 25.
166 & 167
The page numbers would be 166 and 167.
The page numbers would be 183 and 184.
52 and 53
"Open your book on page (number)"
168 and 169
In swedish passports, the passport book number is displayed after you open the second page. It is in the top right of the page, under the [Passnr./Passport No./Passeport N°] head line. The number consists of 8 numbers. The same number is also found at the bottom left of the same page. It is the first eight numbers before the "<"-symbol shows, which separates the pass. no. from the other information.
Page 284 in my copy, but you should probably just flip the book open and look for the page with the big "22" near the top, since you may be using a different printing of the book with different page numbers.
42 and 43 because 42*43 = 1806
They are pages 42 and 43 because the product of both numbers is 1806
pages 56 and 57
