What should a smart 8th grade math kid take Algebra 1 part 1 or Pre-AP Algebra?

What Is After Algebra One?

After Algebra 1, if you passed it, you will take Geometry.

If you took Algebra 1 part 1 do you have to take Algebra 1 part 2?

yes you would have to because that would be the full course of algebra just at a slower and easier pace

What is regular maths and general maths for tenth standard?

It depends a little on where you are attending school and what courses you have already completed. Usually, Geometry is standard for 10th graders. You usually take geometry after you take Algebra 1 in 9th grade. However, I took Algebra 1 in 8th grade, Geometry in 9th, and Algebra 2 in 10th. So, if you're a little behind in math, you might take Algebra 1. If you're average, you might take Geometry. If you're ahead, you might take Algebra 2.

Is pre-algebra or algebra 1 better?

Algebra 1 is in a way better than Pre-Algebra. Algebra 1 is more advanced than Pre-Algebra and will increase your chances in college. But of course there are higher levels than Algebra 1, and if you can master those or at least maintain a decent grade (as in B or higher and maybe a C but it depends on which college or school you are planning on going to). You should not want to take the easy road in life, and that is for everything you do. Pre-Algebra is an easy road and although you may bother to learn the basics and call it a success in life, you sould still go further and maybe you will become something greater tha you expect of yourself. So, the answer to your question is answered with another question: "Do you want to become more successful in life and do Pre-Algebra or are you going to do something maybe even higher than Algebra 1?"

Should algebra 1 be capitalized?

If "algebra 1 is a title or the beginning of a sentence, then it should be capitalised. If it is in a sentence, but not at the beginning, then it should not be capitalised.

Which course is better pre-algebra 1 or pre-algebra 2?

It depends on how far you are on Pre-algebra. If you don't know anything, I recommend you take Pre-algebra 1. If you are advanced in Pre-algebra and you know variables and expressions then I recommend you take Pre-algebra 2

What Is After Algebra One?

Do you need to take algebra 1?

What types of algebra are there?

There are mainly two types of Algebra. Algebra 1 and Algebra II. Some 8th graders and most 9th graders take Algebra I, and then either take Algebra II as a 10th or 11th grader. It depends on the school in which year the students take the two types.

Is Pre Algebra the same as Algebra 1?

No. Pre-Algebra is taught to provide the ability to do certain mathematical equations before doing the more challenging math of Algebra I.

Do you have to remember algebra 1 to do good in algebra 2?

To do WELL in Algebra 2, you will need to remember part of Algebra 1. However, your teacher should go over part of Algebra 1. I did poorly in Algebra 1, though Algebra 2 now makes sense to me simply because I needed to understand it to understand Algebra 2, and I was able to infer the things that I was unsure of.

Is it okay if I skip Pre-Algebra and take Algebra 1?

I recommend that you take the Pre-Algebra before taking Algebra I. Taking the Pre-Algebra has a strong potential of helping you understand Algebra I much more easily and much better. A strong background and understanding of Algebra can be the basis for doing very well in later math courses.
