This is easy.... so the questions is 2/3 + 4/6 so you have to change the denominators so they are the same.... because 6 can't go into 3 but 3 can go into 6, u must multiply the 3 by 2 so you get six, but you must multiply the top number by the same so the equation becomes 4/6 + 4/6 so now you add.... the denominator remains same (6) but the top number changes so it becomes 8 (4 + 4 = 8) so the answer is 8/6 ...... now if you want to simplify it, you have to makes wholes (which means the same number on top and bottom.... so 1/1 , 5/5 etc...) but since u have more you have to minus the bottom number from the top, so 8-6...to become 2/6 and u must add a one before the fraction to indicate that you made one whole....so the answer becomes 1 2/6 which then turns to 11/3 because 2 can go into itself once and 6, 3 times....
