Disconnect the negative battery cable, tape it up with electrical tape and tie it out of the way; remove 4 bolts that hold the upper cross member on top of the radiator, the plastic fasteners that hold the upper portion of the grille, the upper and lower radiator hose, 4 bolts that holds the aircondition condenser on to the front of the radiator, cooler lines bracket on left and right side of the radiator, a bracket that holds the aircondition line to the fan shrod, unplug the cooling fan connection wires. Then remove the radiator and fan as a unit, you can separete them after u get them out;

Air conditioner problems in Saturn 2001?
Yes, the AC fluid leaked out from the condenser coil. The leak occurs from the point of contact behind one of the screws that holds the bracket on the condenser coil. This should never have happened. The car has only 43,000 miles on it. Normal road vibration may have worn a hole on the coil where the screw/bracket is (one of a few brackets that holds the unit in place). You can easily see the drips from that point if you look under the front of the car, between the center and a little left of the driver's side. Anyone else have this problem? The dealer will not assist in paying for the repair. Any suggestions?

The vehicle has to be off the ground preferably on a lift I used two pieces of wire under the hood to hold the radiator in place so it would not drop down suddenly. There is a metal bracket running the length of the bottom of the radiator which actually holds it in place. I can't explain where to begin but your radiator is removed from the bottom of the car. How do you change radiator on a 2002 envoy?
The best way that I have found is to take off the hoses, loosen the oil pipes at the bottom and take off the fan and shroud by removing the bolts holding it in place. You need to take off the fan which requires a special tool to loosen it from the water pump. After that, the process should be simple enough. There are two plastic hooks on both sides of the radiator. You can loosen the hold of these hooks by wedging a regular screwdriver between the rubber flap that holds it in place. The condenser and radiator should be loose enough to unscrew the bolts connecting the radiator and condenser together. Lift up on the radiator and you replace in reverse.
