Let the lengths be 2x and 5x

If: 2*(2x+5x) = 224 then x = 16 So therefore the lengths are 32 and 80 because 32+80+32+80 = 224

The diagonal of rectangle is citizen its grade is 37 then the perimeter is?

You CAN'T calculate the perimeter of a rectangle, knowing only its diagonal. You do need some additional information about the rectangle - such as its width, or its length, or perhaps the length/width ratio.

How do you find the perimeter of a rectangle with a triangle attached to the side?

Perimeter is easy. Just add up all of the sides. However, if you are missing some measurements, then things could be more complicated. Please specify next time.

How do you know the perimeter of a square or a rectangle?

To figure that out, you must multiply the width and length 2x since in a square or a rectangle is 2 width and 2 length. and when you must mutiplied it, the answer to both length and width, you must add and that is how you figure out the perimeter of a square or a rectangle. This is for 5th graders who is struggling on geometrey. I'm a perfect A+ student in 5th grade that posted the answer to this. I hope you like it and recomend it!^^ Please recomend it...:)

Draw a picture to solve this problem or show work please A sidewalk borders a rectangle play area The play area measures 20 feet by 14 feet The width of the sidewalk is 2 ft Find perimeter?

If there's a two foot border around a 14 x 20 foot area, that makes it 18 x 24 feet, with a perimeter of 84 feet.

Why is a square a rectangle Please answer?

Presumably because it has four right angles and four straight sides that are parallel just like a rectangle has.

What are 3 non-examples of a rectangle?

A circle is a non-example of rectangle. -(ONE question at a time PLEASE )

How do you find the area and perimeter of triangles?

Perimeter: add the three sides. Area: Use the formula area = (1/2) x base x height. Please note that the height must be measured perpendicular to the base. Depending on the data known, you might also use other formulae; for example, if you know the lengths of the three sides, you can use Heron's formula - if you need it, look it up on the Wikipedia.

Find x if the perimeter of this rectangle is 20?

If you want to ask questions about "this", then I suggest that you make sure that "this" does appear in the question.

How do you find the width and height of the rectangle?

By measuring it. If you want to calculate it based on other information you know about the rectangle, please clarify what information you know.

How you solve parallelogram?

Please clarify what data is given, and what you want to solve for. To calculate the perimeter, add the length of all four sides. To calculate the area, the formula is basically same as for a rectangle: length x height; however, the height must be measured perpendicular to the side which you use as "length".
