Sum of all the angles in the triangle has to be 180 degrees.

Let's mark the largest angle as x.

Then, smallest angle will be 0.5x and the middle one x-25.

x + 0.5x +x - 25 = 180, which is after simplyfying:

2.5x = 205

x = 82 degrees -> the largest angle,

x-25 = 57 degrees -> middle one,

0.5x = 41 degrees -> the smallest angle.

What is the largest and smallest perimeter possible for a rectangle with a area of 42?

Largest = 86, Smallest 26

What is the term for data in order form smallest to largest?

From smallest to largest is known as putting data in ascending order.

What type of angle is the largest in a triangle?

the obtuse angle is the largest angle in a triangle. It spreads from 91 to 179 on a protractor

In a triangle the measure of the largest angle is 3 times the measure of the smallest angle The measure of the remaining angle is twice the measure of the smallest angle Measure of the largest angle?

Cryptogram said 45, but what was the question?There is no punctuation, except for the last "?", so I will assume that when a word is capitalized, it starts a new sentence. Therefore the statements are:In a triangle the measure of the largest angle is 3 times the measureof the smallest angle. The measure of the remainingangle is twice themeasure of the smallest angle.Since "Measure of the largest angle" is a fragment of something, I will discard it (it could be a mistake of leftover text or could be an incomplete thought). I guess that the "?" at the end means that we are supposed to answer something, and the answer could possibly relate to the largest angle. If I supply all the angles, you will hopefully get your answer.Since L=3S and M=2S, and 3S+2S+S=180º, then 6S=180º, so Smallest angle =30ºMiddle angle =60ºLargest angle =90º

The perimeter of a triangle is 57 the first side is twice the length of the second side the third side is seven more than the second side what is the length of each side?

the perimeter of a triangle is 86 inches. the largest side is four inches less than twice the smallest side. the third side is 10 inches longer than the smallest side. what is the length of each side?

Is it true that the largest angle of a triangle is between the two longest sides?

Not always because the largest angle of a right angle triangle is between its smallest sides which measures 90 degrees

What measures of the three angles of a triangle form an arithmetic sequence If the smallest angle measures 45 degrees What is the number of degrees in measure of the largest angle?

80

The smallest angle in a triangle measures 90 degrees less than the largest angle The middle angle measures 60 degrees less than the largest angle?

The angles are, 20°, 50°, and 110°.

If the largest angle of an isosceles triangle measures 106 find the measure of the smallest angle?

The smallest angle would be = 38 degrees. Proof: Base angles of an isosceles triangle must equ All angles of the triangle must add up to 180 degress considering that the known angle is not under 89 degrees the other two must equal, yet both add up to 76 degrees.

Relations among the angles of a triangle?

In a triangle, the sum of the angles is always 180 degrees. This is known as the angle sum property of triangles. Additionally, the largest angle in a triangle is always opposite the longest side, and the smallest angle is opposite the shortest side.

What are the angles from smallest to greatest in a triangle that has sides of 8.3cm 5.4cm and 7.1cm?

If you know all three sides of a triangle, you can calculate the angles using the law of cosines. If you only want to know which angle is the smallest, it is much simpler: The angle that is opposite to the smallest side is the smallest angle; the angle that is opposite to the largest side is the largest angle.

In any triangle the greater angle lies opposite the greater?

Any triangle has its largest angle opposite the longest side, and the smallest angle opposite the shortest side.

In a Obtuse angled triangle what angle is opposite the longer side?

It is a characteristic of any triangle that the longest side is opposite the largest angle and the shortest side is opposite the smallest angle.

In a certain triangle the two smallest angles have the same measure The measure of the largest angle is twice the measure of the smaller angels what is the measure of the largest angle?

90o. Let A be the size of the smallest angle. Then the three angles are A, A & 2A. The sum of the angles in a triangle is 180o, thus: A + A + 2A = 180o 4A = 180o A = 45o So the largest angle is 2A = 2 x 45o = 90o.

Complete this sentence In a triangle the angle with the smallest measure is always opposite the?

The angle with the smallest measure is opposite the shortest side. Similarly, the angle with the largest measure is opposite the longest side.

The largest angle of a triangle is 100 degrees larger than the smallest angle If the third angle exceeds the smallest by 5 degrees how many degrees are there in each angle of the triangle?

When doing these types of problems, start with the fact that the sum of the angles in any triangle is 180 degrees (Any planar triangle that is.)So let the smallest angle be x. The largest angle is x+100 since we are told the largest angle is 100 degrees larger than the smallest angle.Now the third angle is x+5 by the same reasoning.So now we add x+x+5+x+100=1803x+105=1803x=75so x=25.The smallest angle is 25 degrees.The largest is 125 degrees and the third angle is 30 degree.Note that 125+25+30 is 180 as desired.

What is the relationship between the lengths of the sides and the measures of the angles in a triangle?

Relationship between the lengths and the measures of angles are related to theorems like the opposite side of the largest angle is the largest side two equal angles oppositee sides are also equal
