You need to convert miles to kilometers, ie. multiply 65 by 1.61. The answer then is 104.65, which in practice would be nearer 100 km/h. I'm basing this on the asumption that your speedometer doesn't have miles - only kilometers and you want an answer that will keep you within the legal limit.

I lived in Europe for 10 years. We divided by 8 and multiplied by 5 to convert from kilometers to miles, and divided by 5 and multiplied by 8 to convert from miles to kilometers. It is a rough, but very accurate conversion that you can do in your head most times, and it keeps you legal.

In your example 65 divided by 5 is 13. 13 times 8 is 104 kilometers. As you can see, the error is less than 1 kph and no cop in the world cares about that.
