Solution:
x + y - 31 = x - y - 25
x - x + y + y = -25 + 31
2y = 6
y = 3
x - y = 25
x - 3 = 25
x = 25 + 3
x = 28
Checking:
x + y = 31
28 + 3 = 31
√(x - y) = 5
√(28 - 3) = 5
√25 = 5
