The basic formula we need is the Standard Normal Distribution formula (see related link) which is Z = (x - mean)/std dev. Solve for x, and we get: x = mean + z*std dev. From the Z table (see related link), area = 0.900 (your 90% in decimal form) we get the closest z value of 1.28 (from area = 0.8997). We can now solve for x, the value at the 90th percentile. X = 191 + (1.28)*22.4 or 219.672. Cholesterol, to my knowledge, is always given in whole numbers, so the value is 220 (rounded up).

What month is the most unlucky is it February the 13th or June 13th?

It's June 13th, because Valentine's Day occurs just before February the 13th. At least, that's what I think, but you could also argue the opposite point, that February 13th is more unlucky than June 13th, because it occurs just after Valentine's Day (assummed to be lucky), therefore it must be unlucky. Hope this helps!

Meaning of voxel counter in vhdl?

Voxel counter Counts the thresholded voxels in a stack and displays the count, the average count per slice and the volume fraction (ratio of thresholded voxels to all voxels). If there is an ROI, the voxel counts and volume fraction are based on the substack defined by that ROI. Before running, threshold the stack using Image / Adjust / Threshold. With binary stacks, black voxels are assummed to be thresholded. It can be implemented using VHDL.

How do you calculate Net Effective Rent?

Example related to office lease proposals 5 year lease: Net rent: $400 per square metre Outgoings: $100 per square metre Incentive: 25% of net rent (incentive assummed to be taken upfront i.e. towards fitout contribution) Incentive value: $500 per square metre Amortised incentive value @ 12% = $133.46 Therefore: Gross face rent = $500 Net face rent = $400 Gross effective rent = $366.54 Net effective rent = $266.54 Note: There is both an argument for and against towards applying a finance rate or a discount rate related to the riskiness of the office cashflow in calculating the amortised value of the incentive. I've used a rate similar to a discount rate that investor might adopt in assessing the merits/value of a project. Comments welcome....

Why is the enthalpy change of neutralisation equal to -57.2kJ mol-1?

Actually your question should sound "Why is the enthalpy change of neutralization of STRONG ACID and STRONG BASE equal to -57.2kJmol-1?". This is because when STRONG ACID and STRONG BASE react and neutralization process occur, a complete ionization will occur. Therefore, they will have almost the same value of enthalpies and can be assummed to be -57.2kJmol-1. As per mentioned that if your question sounds "Why is the enthalpy change of neutralization of STRONG ACID and STRONG BASE equal to -57.2kJmol-1?", then my explaination above will be helpful. However, if it doesn't sound like mine and you insisted with your question titled "Why is the enthalpy change of neutralization equal to -57.2kJmol-1", then my answer is that they didn't equal to -57.2kJmol-1 and it varies from the list of reactants. 1. STRONG acid + STRONG base = -57.2 2. WEAK acid + WEAK base = less than 57.3kJmol-1 3. WEAK acid + STRONG base = more negative than -57.3kJmol-1 Wish that it is useful as your reference. Prompt me if I am wrong.

How long was czechoslokia been a nation?

Czechoslovakia was founded after the end of the first world war in 1919. It stayed independent until 1938, when the Sudetenland was ceded to the Germans as a result of the Munich Peace Conference in 1938. Soon after, the Nazis took over the rest of the country in early 1939. Hitler rightfully assummed that the wester powers (France & England), would do nothing. After the end of the second world war in May 1945, their was compettion between forces allied to the Soviet Union and the west. The communists gained the upper hand by 1947 and installed a puppet government. They remained a satelite country under the direct control of the Soviet Union until Nov 1989, when the people overthrew the communists which became known as the "velvet revolution". In 1995, I believe, Czechoslovakia split up and there became the Czech Republic with Prague as its capital, and the Republic of Slovenia, with Brataslava as its capital. Today, both nation's are part of the European Union and have prospered under a free, liberal democratic form of government.
