De Revolutionibus, Principia Mathematica
Nicolaus Copernicus was in the field of astronomy. He is best known for his heliocentric model of the universe, where he proposed that the Earth and other planets revolve around the Sun. This model revolutionized our understanding of the cosmos.
Nicolas Copernicus was mostly known for his astrology. He was also a mathematician, a physician, a translator, an artist, a diplomat, an economist.... But he was more well known for his astrology because he discovered heliocentrism ( theory that the sun is stationary at the centre of the earth).
Astronomy is planets and space earth science is about earth
Copernicus was an astronomer that put together an heliocentric model of the universe. Heliocentric, the sun being at the center of the universe. It is said that he began the Scientific Revolution.
The first science significantly affected by the Scientific Revolution was astronomy, particularly with the heliocentric model proposed by Copernicus, which replaced the geocentric view of the universe. This paradigm shift laid the foundation for further advancements in areas such as physics and mathematics.
Science!!
He is best known for astronomy and orbital mechanics
Nicholas Copernicus ..................................... my science said so

Copernicous's areas in science was, hELIUM Friction and Physics, So mainly forces
Nicolaus Copernicus
Astronomy has changed two of them, Physics another two, and Mathermatics has changed the rest of them.
ARCHIMEDES, ARISTOTLE, NIELS BOHR, NICHOLAS, COPERNICUS
No. Astronomy is a branch of science, but not all science deals with astronomy.
How does Nicolas Copernicus became interested in science?
Nicolas Copernicus was mostly known for his astrology. He was also a mathematician, a physician, a translator, an artist, a diplomat, an economist.... But he was more well known for his astrology because he discovered heliocentrism ( theory that the sun is stationary at the centre of the earth).
Tolosani claimed Copernicus made his biggest error by using "inferior" fields of study to make statements about the "superior" fields. Copernicus used Math and Astronomy to postulate about Physics and Cosmology. Others used principles of Physics and Cosmology to determine principles of Math and Astronomy. Tolosani felt Copernicus was undermining the entire system of science. He said Copernicus fell into philosophical error because he was not knowledgeable in physics and logic. To him, anyone who did not know physics and logic would be unable to make a good astronomer, and not be able to tell truth from falsehood. A simpler answer: Copernicus thought the planets moved in circular orbits. Kepler later showed they move in elliptical orbits.
