You cannot say any more. They can be parallel but need not be. In fact, given any one line, there are infinitely many lines that are not in the same plane, nor intersecting but are not parallel.

For a simple example, picture yourself in a cuboid room.

Line 1: Line joining floor to opposite wall.

Line 2: Line joining wall on your left to the ceiling.

These line are not coplanar, nor are they intersecting.

Or another Line 2: Line joining wall on your left to wall behind you.

Many more.

What are lines that intersect at the same point?

yes two lines intersect to form a point two planes intersect to form a line

Two lines that do not intersect and are in different planes?

They are skew lines. Two parallel lines must be in the same plane.

Do two distinct planes intersect in a pair of lines?

No. The planes must either coincide (they are the same, and intersect everywhere), be parallel (never intersect), or intersect in exactly one line.

Two planes can intersect in two lines?

No.

What are two planes that intersect in a straight lines known as?

Intersecting planes!

What are two lines that are in different planes that do not intersect called?

parralel lines

When are two lines in intersecting planes skew?

Each line can either intersect the edge which is common to the two planes at some point or be parallel to it. If the two lines intersect the edge, but at different points, then the lines are skew. If only one of the lines intersects the edge, then again the lines are skew. If neither of them intersect, then the two lines are parallel to the same edge and so they are parallel to one another so not skew.

Two lines only intersect at exactly one point?

Two straight lines, whether they're in the same or different planes, must intersect at either one point or else at no points.

What are two lines on the same plane that do not intersect?

Two lines that do not intersect on the same plane are Parallel lines.

What is the name of two lines in different planes that do not intersect and are not parallel?

skew lines

What are lines that are not coplanar and do not intersect?

Two lines that are not coplaner exist on two different planes. These lines do not and will not intersect by simple definition. It is however, when speaking of three or more lines, when the possibility that two or more of them may intersect.

How many lines are intersected when two planes intersect?
