Yeah but you have to have like a 253 on the maps score to go on to algebra 1....a guy I go to school with in 6th grade he went straight to algebra 1 when everyone else was taking adv. Math . As a senior he will be taking calculus 3

Well, in my school most students begin taking Algebra I in eight grade. However, if you are placed in one of the honor classes in seventh grade you take it a year early. But the kids in the honor classes are put under more pressure. The classes are faster and busier.

I recommend that you take the Pre-Algebra before taking Algebra I. Taking the Pre-Algebra has a strong potential of helping you understand Algebra I much more easily and much better. A strong background and understanding of Algebra can be the basis for doing very well in later math courses.

It should be capitalized if it's referring to a specific course title. For example: "I'm taking Algebra 101 next semester."
College Algebra is the required math for allcollege students. What you benefit from it depends on what degree you want to get from college.
If you want to be in Algebra in Middle School that badly then I would say deal. If you really hate it then you should stop taking that class, if you can.
