You can graph anything you like in any way you like. The important thing is that the information is conveyed effectively. One of my favourites gives information on losses suffered by Napoleon's army during his invasion of Russia. See link:

There are a lot more than just four types of graph. A graph is simply a way to present information in a visual form. One of my favourites is Minard's graphic display of Napoleon's army's march into and retreat from Russia. See link.

Presumably you mean the common, well-recognised forms and associated mathematical functions? If so, there are many, but they include - straight-line, normal, Poisson, hyperbola, exponential, sine, log-normal, parabola
