Probably the most obvious one would be the plane's safety precautions. Nowadays, there are better security belts as well as oxygen machines in case of an emergency. Also, the engines and motors are much better than those of the first planes. They make flying better and more efficient. The appearance of flight attendants as well as copilots is another notable difference; the food and food trays; the seats; bathroom; hallway, etc. Another one can be the way that they are constructed. They are much safer and better looking. Hope this helped.

The main differences between the first plane and present-day planes are in terms of technology, size, and capabilities. The first plane, such as the Wright brothers' Flyer, was a small, single-engine, propeller-driven aircraft made of wood and fabric. Present-day planes are significantly larger, made of advanced materials like aluminum and composite materials, and feature powerful jet engines. They also have advanced navigation systems, better aerodynamics, higher speeds, and can carry a larger number of passengers and cargo.

What differences would be between flying a small plane and being the pilot of a large passenger plane?

A lot. Way to much to list here. A huge jumbo plane has vast complex systems that the pilot monitors in order to keep the plane flying. For large a/c you need to be certified to fly individual ones.
