Well, I just found this out a few months ago. The L and R buttons on my 3DS were worn out; luckily, I found out how to get them working again. You need these materials: - Your 3DS - WD-40 - Cotton swab - Paper towels ( or something else as long it can wipe away the WD-40 ) Let's begin with the steps. First, get your 3DS. You need to blow on the L and R buttons where there is just a little space between both of them. Second, get a few cotton swabs ( you probably should have one ) and apply a little Wd-40 on each end. Lift up the button just a little bit with your fingertips and apply the WD-40 to the button. Repeat the process for both buttons. Third, the WD-40 might/will drip down from the buttons so wipe it with a paper towel. Finally, blow once more into the buttons so that it dries into them. Note: It will take some time for the WD-40 to clean the L and R buttons, so wait for a few minutes until they function properly. After some time, test it out to see if it worked.

There are many possible answers. One possible pair is 2 and 40.
Assuming that repeated numbers are allowed, the number of possible combinations is given by 40 * 40 * 40 = 64000.If repeated numbers are not allowed, the number of possible combinations is given by 40 * 39 * 38 = 59280.
