I believe it's accurate to say that there are an infinite number of subsets

of real numbers. Not only that, there could be an infinite number of subsets

that have an infinite number of members.

A few of them would be:

  • the odd numbers
  • the even numbers
  • the even numbers between 10 and 20
  • the even numbers between 10 and 22
  • the even numbers between 10 and 24
  • the even numbers between 10 and 26
  • the integers greater than 137
  • the numbers between 4.0 and 4.1 that have more than 2 decimal places
  • the prime numbers greater than 68,597
  • the integers containing at least one '6'
  • the powers of '2'.

etc.
