Two decimal places.
It allows you to increase the amount of decimal places that are shown for values in cells.
For percentages to decimal values, two places to the left. A percent is 1/100th.
You divide percent values by 100 (or move the decimal two places to the left) to get the decimal equivalent: 10 / 100 = 0.1
You divide percent values by 100 (or move the decimal two places to the left) to get the decimal equivalent: 840/ 100 = 8.4
Display more decimal places.
When adding these measurements, the result should be reported to the least number of decimal places in the measurements. The values 4.392g and 2.51g have three and two decimal places, respectively, while 102.40g has two decimal places. Therefore, the sum should be rounded to two decimal places, resulting in a final answer of 109.33g.
