Pennies are the best!
Why would you want to make pennies any biger? They're not worth any more by making them bigger, they're still only a penny
the bank!
A copper penny is worth about 2 and a half cents, however, due to the fact it is illegal to export or melt pennies for copper, there are very few people who will buy them.
Pennies in the United Kingdom, america, Canada, etc, are actively sold, purchased, bartered, and traded by numismatics every day.
Yes and no. Yes, they are technically worth about 2.2 cents in copper value (pre-1982 pennies are 95% copper, post-1982 pennies are mostly zinc and are worth about half a cent in zinc scrap) but they are illegal to melt down and as such you will have a hard time finding someone to buy them. 1965 pennies are not rare by any stretch and as such you should just spend it like any other penny. Unless the penny has an error (or you have a /lot/ of copper cents to sell to someone, or if the penny is in mint packaging) if it has a memorial on the back of the coin, simply spend it.
There are approximately 181 pennies in a pound, so 10 pounds of pennies would be approximately 1,810 pennies. In terms of value, each penny is worth $0.01, so 10 pounds of pennies would be worth $18.10.
No. It is a rare wheat penny worth up to 15 cents. Basically, the only way to get them is buy them for 99 cents online.
1960 pennies are worth more. Wrong!.... 2008 are worth more... its about quantity not YEAR Clever. But I would point out that the 1990 pennies would probably be worth the most due to the fact that they contain more copper =)
You pay a penny.....
