70 It is asking to divide by 1/2 not divide by 2 70 because 30 divided by half (0.5) is really multiplying it by 2. (30 X 2 is 60 + 10 is 70) Then plus ten is 70. Wouldn't you divide 30 by half (15)??????

Half is the same thing as .5 so you divide 30 by .5 and you get 60 then you add 10 so it is 70. TADA!!!

30/(1/2) + 10 = 30x2 + 10 = 60 + 10 = 70.

12.5? or "what". Did you mean "Divide thirty by half and add ten?"? Then the answer would be seventy.

30:2=15 15+10=25 so it's 25AnswerA different aproach would be to do the following: 30 : 1/2 (a half) = 60 + 10 = 70.Half of 30 is 15 so divide 30 by 15 and you get 2 + 10= 12!

66if you meant 30 divided by 2 plus 10% it is 16.5

30 divided by .5 plus 10 equals 70 70

Seventy. 30 / .5 = 60; 60 + 10 = 70.

Divide 30 by what? 10? If so, than the answer is 13. 30/10 = 3, 3 +10 = 13

Half of 30 is 15 ... adding 10 would then equal 25. 30/2=15 + 10 = 25 Trick question...one half is .5...not one half of thirty. So 30 divided by .5 is 60. Plus 10 would make the answer 70...

Add the two numbers together and then divide by two. Assume the two number is 10 and 20. Add them together (30) and divide by 2 (15).

30/(1/2)=30*2=60; 60+10=70; 70-(-2)=70+2=72. The answer is 72.

Well.....30/2=1515+10=25Soit's 30 divided by HALF, which is .5 30 divided by .5 is 60. plus 10 is 70.

Because your calculator is broken. Seriously; 30 divided by half (0.5) is 60 and 60 + 10 = 70 So, 30 cut in half (30/2) is 15 but 30 DIVIDED BY half (30/0.5) is 60.

When you divide 30 by 2 you get 15 and one half means 1.5 them this means that 15 divide by 1.5 which gives 10 Well, 30 divided by 2 and one half is 30 divided by 5/2 which is the same as 30 times 2/5 = 60/5 =12

25 but what do you mean when you say one-half? 15perhaps or something else seing as this is a brain teaser.
