If you mean the straight line formula of: y = mx+b

Then: 2x-3y-6 = 0 or y = 2/3 x -2 so m=2/3 and b=-2

If you mean that 2x-3y = -6 , then y = 2/3 x + 2 so m=2/3 and b= +2

What is the slope 2x plus 3y equals 6?

2x + 3y = 6 can be written in the standard slope-intercept form of y= mx + c, where 'm' is the slope. 3y = -2x + 6 y = -⅔x + 2 The slope of this linear graph is -⅔.

What is the slope of 2x plus 3y equals 6?

Convert the equation into y = mx + b form: 2x + 3y = 6 -2x -2x 3y = 6 - 2x Divide both sides by 3: y = 2- 2/3x If we move the terms around to put in in y = mx + b: y = -2/3x + 2 m is the slope, so the slope is -2/3

Covert 2x-3y equals 6 into slope intercept form?

2x - 3y = 6 2x = 6 + 3y 2x - 6 = 3y : 3y = 2x - 6 y = 2/3x - 2

How do you write the equation in slope-intercept form to the problem 2x-3y-6 equals 0?

I am assuming you mean the form Y=MX+C 2x-3y-6=0 2x-6=3y 2/3x-2=y y=2/3x-2 slope =2/3

What is the slope of 2x plus 3y equals 18?

Convert the equation into the form y = mx + c, where m is the slope (and c is the y intercept) 2x + 3y = 18 3y = -2x + 18 y = -2/3x + 6 Therefore the slope is -2/3.

2x plus 3y-5plus 3y-6 equals?

Collect like terms: 2x + 3y + 3y - 5 - 6 2x + 6y - 11

What is 2x-3y equals 6 converted to slope intercept form?

2x - 3y = 62x = 3y + 63y = 2x - 6y = (2x - 6)/3y = (2/3)x - 2

What is the equation of the line that passes through 2 3 and is parallel to 2x 3y 6?

If you mean: 2x+3y = 6 then it is 2x+3y = 11

-2x plus 3y -6?

Answer = -2x + 3y - 6 Are you sure you asked the question correctly?

What ae x and y intercepts of 2x - 3y 12?

If we put 2x - 3y = 12 into y = mx + b format, you will get.. y = 2/3x - 4 Therefore the intercepts would be... y= -4 x= 6

What is the slope of line with the equation 2x 3y plus 6 equals 0?

Put the equation in this form: y=mx+b. Then m will be the slope. 2x3y+6=0 2x3y=-6 3y=-6/2x y=-2/2x y=-1/x This equation does not describe a straight line, but rather, it describes a curve.
