Who had a regimental cap badge with a laurel wreath a cross and a crown?

I assume you question is about British Regimental Capbadges. And I assume by a "Cross" you refer to a Maltese cross and NOT a Christian cross. The Maltese cross was used as a symbol for rifle regiments. The Kings Royal Rifle Corpswas a simple Maltese cross with a crown on top(but no wreath) and was painted black.Rifle Brigade - Maltese Cross surrounded by a thick wreath with a Crown on top. The wreath is wrapped with a banner that lists the battle honors of the Rifle Brigade. The bottom title has the name "Prince Consort's Own" and under the Crown is "Waterloo".Variations of this badge were adopted for other rifle units, as follows.Derby & Knox "Sherwood Forresters" - Another Maltese Cross in a Wreath with Crown on top. A round disc in center of cross is marked "The Robin Hoods", and the arms of the cross is printed with "South Africa" and "1900-02".Earlier versions of this badg has a smaller wreath that covers just the center of the Cross and the name "Sherwood Forresters on the two horizontal arms of the cross. A Title banner under the cross is marked with "Notts & Derby".County of London Rifle Brigade - Almost identical to above badge but has "County of London" in the center and numeral "XIX" in very center. The Border Regiment - This badge has the same symbols but is mounted on a 6-pointed sun-ray as its background. (Since you didn't mention this, I'm don't think this is your badge.)CanadianHastings & Prince Edwards ("Hasty P's") - This Canadian unit wore a badge with a Maltese Cross and a Wreath and a Crown on top, however the center Disc and the wreath almost covers up the shape of the cross. The center disc has an Elk head in the center and at the base is a small Beaver.

Who had a regimental cap badge similar to a Maltese cross?

Answer There are several British Regimental Cap Badges that are shaped like a Maltese Cross over the years. This shape was common for Rifle regiments and I have three types in my collection: King's Royal Rifle Corps. The Sherwood Forestes had a Maltese Cross with a reclining deer in the center(no wreath). In the current British Army, this badge would be worn by the Royal Green Jackets. Its badge is a Maltese Cross within a Wreath.
