This beautiful line can be analysed in 13192744127 ways, and this, is just one. A man's destination is home. Home could be anything... anyone , really. In the end, after a long day or a long week... or a long year, a man wants to go home. To his destination. But. Sometimes, it happens so,that what man thinks is his destination is not where he as meant to be ( his destiny ). Where he is meant to be, might be a million miles away from "home"; even though he thinks that his home is his destination.

I dont know if this helps, but, for an example, take Cory Monteith. He wasnt meant to die. His destination was with Lea, planning their wedding, living a life. But, destiny, being destiny, had other plans. His destiny was... death. That wasnt his destination, but it was his destiny.

That is my take on it. I hope I helped. :)
