If the shape is 3-dimensional rectangular or square then:

volume = height x length x width (so you need to know the volume as well)

therefore:

height = volume divided by length x width

H= Vol / L x W

How do you find the width of a rectangular box when length volume and height is given?

You have to know that [ Volume = (length) x (width) x (height) ]. Then, you can divide each side of that equation by (length x height), and you wind up with Width = Volume/(length x height)

How do you find the length of a rectangular prism when given the volume?

You need more information. Since Volume = Length X Width X Height, you have 3 unknowns, and only equation.

How do you find the volume of a rectangle box with length and widht are given and not specify height?

you can't. you must be given the length, width and height as the formula is: lhw (length x height x width).

How do you find the height of a rectangle given the width length and area?

Height = Area divided by Length

How do you find the length and width of a rectangle when given the area and perimeter?

By forming a quadratic equation from the information given and then the length and width can be found by solving the equation.

How do you find width when volume height and length are given?

You really should know how to answer that question.Volume = (length) x (width) x (height) .Length = (volume) / (width x height)Width = (volume) / (length x height)Height = (volume) / (length x width)

How do you find the length when given the width and height?

You cannot

How do you find the height of a cuboid when the length and width is only given?

By dividing length times width into its given volume

How do find the length of a rectangle if the perimeter and width is given?

Assuming the object is a rectangular parallelepiped, use its density to find its volume and solve the equation V abc for c where a, b, and c are the height, length and width respectively

If you have a graph on which forearm length and height are on the Y and X axis which variable should go on which axis?

== == It depends actually. If you were given a value that is a height and want to find the forearm length from that then the forearm length would go on the Y axis (because it is dependant on the height) and the height on the X-axis. If you are given a value that is the forearm length and you want to know the height then you will put height on the Y-axis and the forearm length on the X-axis.

How do you find the width of a rectangular prism when given the length and height?

More information must be given - the width can vary from zero to a really high number. If the volume is given, you can divide it by the product of the length and the height and you get the width.

What is the shape of a given area?

It has no length, breadth, height or position.
