The best subjects to take in high school to prepare for a degree in teaching include your regular course of study; however, if your school offers dual enrollment or classes which transfer toward college credit then these are even better. Also, if your school offers an introduction to teaching or a Teachers for Tomorrow program, sign up. This will give you real experience working with a current teacher (any level) and current trends and issues in the education field. Sign up for courses that interest you most and take the highest level available. Maintain at least a 3.0 average to guarantee acceptance into a college with an education program and scholarship/grant opportunities.

Don't take classes in high school to prepare yourself for law school, except perhaps a government class if it is not required curriculum. Take classes about subjects that you are interested in. You'll learn plenty about the law in law school. ========================= I concur. The same goes for your university studies. Law schools aren't interested in what subjects you studied. They are interested in what your grades are.
high school courses
School can be boring, given that some subjects are really dry, and that you may not be able to see now how some subjects will be useful to you in the future. However, school is not mean. Some teachers may be mean, as may some students, but - overall - school is there to help you better yourself, and to prepare you for life in the real world.

High school is supposed to prepare you for college. College is supposed to prepare you for the real world. Even if in the furture you will not be doing as much math, you will have the ability to think critically.
