However, I think you mean 3.454545... is a recurring to infinity decimal.

In which case.

Let P = 3.454545....

100P = 345.454545....

Subtract

99P = 342 (Note the recurring decimals subtract to zero.).

P = 342/99

Cancelk down by '9'

P = 38/11

This will not reduce any further, and 38/11 is the IMproper Fraction.

As a mixed number it is 3 5/11.

NB When inidicating a recurring to infinity decimal , after the last number place in at least three(3)dots. e.g. 3.454545...
