this is simple. for the multiplication of fractions, you multiply both the Numerator and denominator straight across. first change the mixed numbers to improper fractions
3 2/8---- 26/8
6 4/7---- 46/7
multiply them to get... whatever... and simplify it. if your teacher wants it in mixed number form then do so but it is easier to keep fractions as improper fractions for this reason
yes
Do you mean 4/7 (as in four-sevenths)? If so, then two are: 8/14 (eight-fourteenths) 16/28 (sixteen-twenty eights)
27 1/2
4 1/7 (four and one seventh).
Ten sevenths or one and three sevenths
Five multiplied by 4/7 is 2 6/7
Expressed as a mixed number in its simplest form, 5 x 4/7 = 2 6/7 or two and six sevenths.
5/8 divided by 2/7 = 35/16 or 2.1875 as a decimal
2 and four sevenths 5 & 2/7 minus 2 & 5/7 equals 2 & 4/7
2 and 5/7 (i think)
An equivalent fraction for four eights is two fourths.
2/7 time 2/7 = 4/49
