The 3 Minute Step Test is a simple cardiovascular fitness assessment designed to evaluate an individual's aerobic capacity and endurance. During the test, a person steps up and down on a platform at a consistent height for three minutes, after which their heart rate is measured. This allows for the assessment of how well the heart and lungs are functioning during physical activity. The results can help determine fitness levels and guide exercise recommendations.
