They are five plane shapes!
A square pyramid has 5 faces. It has 1 square face and 4 triangle faces.
A pyramid can have 0 or 1 square faces. It can have 4 or more faces - there is no limit.
5 faces- 1 for each triangle and 1 for the square base8 edges- 4 for the square base and 4 for the edges between triangular face5 vertices- 4 for the square's corners and 1 at the top
A square pyramid has 1 square base and 4 triangle-shaped sides.
A square pyramid.
One side of a square would be untouched with only 3 triangle faces attached to it. To make an entire closed shape, it would need another part or some 3 dimensional bending would need to take place. A pyramid has 1 square face and 4 triangle faces. A pyramid could also have 4 triangle faces where one triangle substitutes the square face.
pyramid. Base is a square, but each of the 4 sides is a triangle.
a square pyramid
triangle and square 4 triangles one square
There are five (5) faces on a square pyramid
a pyramid, in the sense that most people think of has a square base, with 4 triangle 'sides', which would be 5 faces. A regular tetrahedron has 4 equilateral triangles as faces.
well, it depends is it a triangle on the bottom, or is it a square? if it is a triangle on the bottom, it has 3, + the bottom is 4, if it is a square bottom then it has 4 siides + the bottom is 5.
