There are three types of brainwaves.

They are classified as Alpha, Beta, and Delta. Each type of brainwave is distinct in its waveform and associated physiological importance and function.

A brainwave in general is a synaptic event across a series of linked neurons. The brain contains is an extremely complex network of pathways and dedicated relay centers for ensuring correct signaling pathways
