A ray.
Ray.
A segment has 2 endpoints. A ray has only 1 endpoint, where the other end is an infinite line.
I am pretty sure that a ray is part of a line and has one endpoint. A ray starts at one point and continues infinitely out in one direction. A line continues infinitely in two directions. So, if you put a point on a line, then there would be one endpoint, and it would be part of a line. Either side of the point and the point itself together make a ray, just not both sides of the point.
A ray starts at an endpoint and goes on infinitely long. It's almost the same as a line except that it only continues in 1 direction, while a lone goes on to infinity in 2 directions.Ray: ->Line:
Endpoints: (-2,-2) and (4, 6) Midpoint: (1, 2)
A ray has one point and one that goes on forever, a line segment has two points.

The other endpoint is -5,-8.
1. Point A point is an location in space, it has no dimensions. 2. Line A line is a set of points that extends infinitely in opposite directions. 3. Line Segment A line segment is a part of a line that has a two endpoints and not extends in opposite directions. 4. Ray A ray is a part of a line that has one endpoint and extends in one direction. 5. Plane A plane contains an infinite number of points on a flat surface that extends in all directions.
ray
A ray has many points, but it has only one endpoint. The rest of the points extend away from the endpoint infinitely along a linear path. This is different than a line segment, which has two endpoints between which a finite distance can be measured. A ray's length is infinite, but only in 1 direction away from its endpoint. A sunbeam can be thought of as a ray. The sun is like the endpoint. Each beam of light begins at the sun and radiates away from it in one direction. Some of the sun's rays point in a path toward Earth. Other rays point in different directions, either passing by us, or going in a direction away from us.
