It is called an independent variable. For example, you give some people Dark Chocolate and other no chocolate at all. You measure their well being. The amount of chocolate is something YOU control, so it is the independent variable. The well being depends on the chocolate. We would expect more dark chocolate would make much happier people. That would be the dependent variable.
The controlled variable is the one that you chose to change while the dependant is the variable that changes because it is effected by the controlled variable
a control variable is a variable that needs to be controlled
The dependent variable does.
A variable is something that can stand as a subsitute for something. And a controlled variable is somthing controllable.
Controlled or the Independent.
controlled variable is something that is controlled by the independent variable
Manipulated Variable, Responding Variable, And Controlled Variable.
controlled variable is something that is controlled by the independent variable
A controlled variable is a setting where the dependent variable is not controlled by the independent variable. For example, if you were trying to measure the rate of movement in an organism in highly salty concentrations, a controlled variable would include the organism in an environment with no salt at all.
A Controlled Variable is a variable that will stay the same. An Uncontrolled Variable is a variable that stays at random during testing.
The controlled variable is the one that you chose to change while the dependant is the variable that changes because it is effected by the controlled variable
"Controlled Variable" or "Manipulated Variable"
manipulated variable
The independent variable.
constant variable
a control variable is a variable that needs to be controlled
The difference between a controlled variable and a variable is in their state. A controlled variable is something which is rigid and constant while a variable is liable to change and inconsistent.
