Definition: Mathematical design is an integrative scientific and artistic direction, the toolkit of which aims to establish a process for the artistic design of the environment and its components on the basis of the mathematical analysis of problems, in order to obtain a product of design whose aesthetic and technical properties are optimized with the help of precise calculations.
