The flex pipe is part of the converter assembly. VERY EXPENSIVE PART!!. My suggestion is to go to an exhaust shop that has a universal flex section about 10-12" long 1 7/8 - 2" inside diameter and have your old one cut out and a new one welded in. Probably $150.00-200.00 to get it done right with a decent quality flex.
Just had my flex pipe replaced about 3 months ago on 1998 2.0 at the dealers and only cost $140. But most auto part stores can just look that up if they know the year, make& model and Liters (2.0 etc.) of the car. The part itself only usually runs about $100-110 plus labour.
