There can be no sensible answer to this question for two main reasons.

  • The common denominator refers to a multiple that is COMMON to two or more numbers. You have only one number in the question! The "common" denominator for a number is itself.
  • There cannot be any such thing as a "biggest common denominator". Once you find one common denominator of a set of numbers, you can keep adding it to itself over and over again. Each new number you get will be a common denominator of your set of numbers, but each new number will always be larger than the previous. This means that you can keep adding while the number approaches infinity and you will still never find a biggest denominator.
