You didn't tell us any of the side lengths, so I gave you a formula to plug the numbers in.
l=length, w=width
The squared area of the box, from the question itself, is 61 square inches. Scaling up the linear dimensions by a factor of 10 will make the area 6100 square inches.
If it's just the front surface of a box then it's simply a 2D shape, the area can be calculated by multiplying the length by the width. Answer will be in units squared.
If all you need is the area of the base, the heigth is irrelevent. Length x Width = Area. Multiply 3.2 x 4.0 = 12.8 squared cm. The nearest squared cm is 13.
358 feet squared
find the area of it 320 feet squared
The surface area would increase by x16, e.g. 2x2x2 box= 24cm squared 8x8x8 box= 384cm squared :384/24=16

I'm not certain what you mean by 'combined?' If the rectangle is a box (cuboid) then the area of each face needs to be added together. There are 2 ends, 2 sides and 2 faces (top and bottom). For example: having found the area of the top by multiplying the length by width, this measurement is then times by 2 to give the total area of the top and bottom. You do the same calculations for the rest of the rectangle, and then add them up.
A box does not have five (5) sides.
Area is measured in squared units, such as cm^2. One centimetre squared is a box that is 1cmx1cm. Perimeter is measured in normal units, such as centimetres.

The bottom of the box has an area of 8.625 square feet.If the box has a lid, its area is the same.In order to calculate the area of the sides of the box, you need to know its height.
The box inside the backboard of a basketball goal has an area of 0.59 meters by 0.45 meters. The bottom of the box sits 0.15 meters above the bottom edge of the backboard.
