Approximations: multiply by 35.314666613425710192907061921296 or divide by 0.028316846592. A "simple" way to work it out is to divide your volume by 0.000016387064 (0.0254^3, or meters/inch, cubed), and then divide by 1728 (12^3, or 1 cubic foot in cubic inches). m/0.0254^3/12^3 Adjust as necessary for desired or available precision (mine was limited by Windows's Calculator app). If your calculator carries more places than it displays, working it out completely will probably give you the best accuracy. This is not precisely accurate for U.S. survey measure, which uses minutely shorter measures. I suggest you go to www.onlineconversion.com

This page will give you a conversion factor. It seems a little ambiguous as to whether the figure they give you is to convert Newlyn to Liverpool or vica versa. I am still investigating.
